My name is Dr. Marina Varga, and I am the founder and creator of Életmódműhely.
For years, I ran a successful law firm—until I felt a deep calling to live differently. That’s when I began a journey of self-discovery, using both group and individual methods. Along the way, I encountered yoga and various philosophical systems.
I realized that this is the only path I want to follow. I came to understand that true freedom—for us in the Western world—lies in developing self-discipline, in learning to master the body, the breath, and the mind to the best of our ability. This discipline can become a bridge to something higher, to genuine happiness. Because ultimately, everyone just wants to be happy.
But joy is fleeting. True happiness—the purified state of the mind—is not.

I studied psychodrama and family constellation work. I also became certified as a lifestyle mentor and a scholar of Vedic philosophy.
I developed my skills as a trainer and became a qualified Hatha and Women’s Yoga instructor. I even took part in a number of professional programs where, officially, I shouldn’t have been allowed—since I’m neither a doctor nor a psychologist.
Teaching is my passion. I only share experiences that I have personally tested and practiced—mainly practical, lived knowledge.
I am continuously learning, conducting research, and striving to embody the philosophy I aim to live by.
As the Hungarian writer Géza Gárdonyi once wrote:
"Everyone is a prisoner of something."
